Letters have a secret desire to leave literary lines and be a part of the art scene. A favorite game of mine is to use my name and make a picture using only the letters of my name or my initials. It’s my game, so sometimes I the letter more than once, and sometimes I don’t.
Here are a few samples of my name. My logo uses my initials, LRC, for Linda Carol Ragsdale. Can you find all the letters? My name and address are the strands of my hair!

Since I'm a writer and an illustrator, look how the letters of my name come together to make the pencil.

I read somewhere that kings use to have their name built into the seal they would stamp on official documents. Sometimes they would make it a face. Can you find all the letters in this one?

How about the silly dancer? You can fatten letters, flip them, write them in cursive, stretch them. You decide.

It doesn't have to do anything. This Linda hops off the page!

In the art for the Art Card Explorer, the spaceship, (or torch as my daughter says) is made from the letters A.C.E. (Ace by the way, means top notch, numero uno, the big cheese. See how the initials of art card explorer spell ace? Do you think I did that on purpose?)

Try it with your own name or initials!
